Should I repair or replace my roof?

Roof Installation issues:

Should you just repair your roof?  Or should you consider replacing it?  This can be a tough decision for some homeowners to make regarding their roof.  The first step in this decision is making sure you're working with an honest and ethical licensed roofing company that will give you good solid advice rather than trying to push you into a full roof replacement.  Here's a few questions to consider.  Are you in an emergency repair situation? Are the materials available to complete the roofing repair? How old is the roof?  Will you be selling the home soon?  Is a repair, partial repair, a full slope, or is a half roof replacement a possibility?  Is your insurance company involved? You typically have a few options when it comes to repairing or replacing your roof.  If your roof is already at the end of or past its expectant lifetime - a roofing replacement may make more sense.  However, the size and scope of the roofing repair should be considered as well.  Just know, you may be able to repair your roof and still have some good years in the roof remaining.  If you need a professional opinion of your roof, please reach out to JCORE Roofing & Inspections (480) 262-5522.
